Chesterfield chief executive John Croot has said his side do not fear the prospect of playing West Bromwich Albion in the third round of the FA Cup.
The Spireites will welcomeCarlos Corberans Albion to the Technique Stadium in North Derbyshire in the new year for the first meeting between the two sides since 1948. Chesterfield, managed by former Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Paul Cook, are third in the National League table and are on a four-match winning streak.
The prospect of a packed stadium and a potential passage into the fourth round is on the cards and Croot is happy with the draw. He also thinks thatWest Bromwill be wary of Chesterfields ability despite the two division gap between both sides given the latter were very recently a League One club.

It is a great draw for us really, it is winnable, Croot said. We are certainly in with a chance and we will give it a good go.
It is not a game West Brom will look forward to. I dont think anybody will look forward to coming to the Technique Stadium. We are playing well at the moment, confidence is high in the camp and there is nothing to fear. We might as well go out and have a real go at them. We have got good players, even right down to the bench for our level.
We will have a go against anybody. Croot is also hoping that an unknown factor will bring out both sets of fans for a game that may be picked for live television coverage.
It is a club which I think many of our fans wont have seen us play before, he added. It will be a great atmosphere.
They are a big club and they will bring a lot of fans. It is a club which has a great history so it will be a packed away end and a packed Technique Stadium. We very much hope that we will be live on TV which would be tremendous.
